MR1619 STEVENS WHIPPET MODEL C 22 SINGLE SHOT RIFLE; 22 inch round barrel chambered in 22 S L OR LR caliber with a bright shiny bore. Original open sights missing the rear elevator. Barrel has traces of original blue with good markings. Trigger and bolt handle are nickel plated with some flaking. Wood is in good shape with a rubbed oil finish and steel buttplate that has some light roughness as well. These “Whippet” rifles were often a youngsters first rifle being light, inexpensive and a single shot.
