Beautiful little gun with a coin nickel receiver. There is a game scene with ducks flushing on one side, some fox on the bottom and some hunters and pheasants on the other side. Engraving is total coverage on the receiver with a gold inlaid bird on the opening lever. Barrels have an oak leaf engraving extending out about 3-4 inches. Very high quality engraving. Barrels are 28 inches and retain most all of the bright blue. Vent rib. 3-piece forearm. Wood stock is nicely checkered and measures 14 inches to the end of the steel buttplate. Most all varnish intact with just some minor hunting mars. Scalped style action. Single selective trigger. A very fancy shotgun. It is fitted in a leather case with brass corners. Marked on the inside of the case “Capt. A. H. Hardy Manufacturer Beverley Hills, Calif”. Lining is green and in good condition.
