Description

W621 WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 RIFLE IN 38 WCF; 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 38 WCF caliber with a bright shiny bore and good rifling. Sights include a german silver blade front and a flattop sporting rear. Barrel and full length magazine tube are a thinning blue/brown color. The mag tube has several scratches on it. Receiver is also a blue/brown color worn to a grey at the high points/carry points. Traces of case colors remain on the hammer and lever. Walnut stocks are overall good condition with several handling mars. Small repaired crack on each side by the upper tang. Crescent butt. Nice functioning action. This Winchester was made in 1901.
