20 inch round barrel. Pinned blade with ivory bead front sight and a Marbles series 95 adjustable leaf folding rear. 2/3 length tube magazine. Color case hardened receiver without saddle ring. Plain walnut forearm with matching straight grip buttstock fit with color case hardened crescent rifle buttplate. Originally manufactured in 1918, this carbine has been completely refinished and remains in excellent condition overall with barrel and magazine showing 98% re-blued finish. Very good bore is fairly bright with decent rifling. The receiver, hammer, lever and buttplate show 98% vibrant color case hardened finish. Stocks are solid and fit decent with only light handling marks. This is a rare opportunity to get a color case hardened model 1894 carbine for a small fraction of what an original case colored gun with much less condition would cost.
