W3613 WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SRC IN 38 WCF; Standard 20 inch carbine configuration chambered in 38 WCF caliber. A pinned blade front and a carbine style folding ladder rear. About 50% blue on the receiver turning a heavy plum/brown. Barrel is also a plum/brown color. Original saddle ring. Barrel is dented on top by the rear sight which may affect shooting. I don’t recommend shooting this one as it may NOT BE SAFE. Wood is in good condition but is shy at the tangs with a carbine style buttplate. Comes with a nice leather scabbard. Markings are “F. S. J. Co” and “J.D.” on the top spine . Nice looking Western outfit for a “DISPLAY ONLY” from 1917. This would be a good gun for display or get it re-barrelled or use it for parts.
