Description
F1028 UNMARKED FLUTED POWDER FLASK; Number 259 in Riling’s book. A large number of flasks of this type are unmarked but it is believed that the original design was that of Bartram & Co. However, American Flask & Cap Company made them and described them in their catalog as “shell” flasks. Flask has 2 eyelets, non-adjustable charger on a patent top with inside spring. Spring appears to be broken. Brown color in protected areas with gray coming through in worn areas.
$ 100.
