W4615 FIRST YEAR WINCHESTER DELUXE MODEL 1905 S.L. SEMI-AUTO RIFLE IN 32 CAL; 22 inch round barrel chambered in 32 caliber with a bright shiny near excellent bore. Most all original barrel blue remains with areas of fading and freckling. Original open sights include a combination front and sporting rear. Rifle would have originally been factory fitted with a tang sight as well as per the research form. Receiver also retains retains the majority of the factory blue. Bolt still has the majority of its peacock blue finish. 4 shot box magazine. Checkered pistolgrip fancy walnut stock is in very good condition with sharp checkering and a hard rubber shotgun buttplate. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock and matching forearm show incredible fiery grain that should grade about 2x or 3x. Winchester gutta percha shotgun style butt plate. Nice functioning action. About 20,786 manufactured between 1910 – 1936. One of the best condition examples of a first year deluxe Winchester 1910 rifles out there. It would be hard to improve upon.
