Chambered for 25-20 WCF the 26 inch No. 2 weight octagon barrel has been re-lined and is marked with “25 WCF” on top just ahead of the action and with  “2” on the bottom just ahead of the forearm. Flat top sporting rear sight with small ivory bead front. Color case hardened low wall action. Plain walnut forearm with matching straight grip butt stock fit with a crescent rifle style butt plate. Near excellent condition overall as refurbished. The barrel has four neatly filled holes that are only visible upon close inspection and shows about 90% re-blued finish. The bore is excellent, bright and shiny with strong rifling. The action shows about 85% original vivid color case hardened finish. The forearm shows some finish wear and has a small chip missing at the bottom just ahead of the action along with other light handling marks. The buttstock is solid, full fitting and has a fresh coat of finish added. Manufactured in 1890.
