W4215 WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 RIFLE IN CALIBER 405; 24 inch tapered round barrel chambered in 405 WCF caliber. Good frosted bore with visible rifling. Sights include a Lyman beaded blade front with a filler blank in the rear slot and a “Climbin’ Lyman” No. 21 receiver sight that is missing the pointer. About 50% thinning barrel blue remaining and about 25% receiver blue with the balance thinning to gray. Sound and solid wood with several filled in spots and a rifle style buttplate. Schnabel forend with ebony insert. Made in 1914. Should make a good shooter in a desirable caliber.
