W3840 ONE OF THE FINEST HENRY RIFLES I HAVE ENCOUNTERED; Receiver is a beautiful butterscotch color. Barrel retains about 96% vivid blue with sharp corners and just a few very light mars. Bright shiny mint bore. Original blade front and 900 yard folding ladder rear sight. Original sling swivels. Good traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. Serial range in the 11k range with all matching numbers throughout. Rifle has been inspected by Oliver Winchester himself as noted by the “W” on the lower tang. Walnut stock is in very good condition with just minor handling mars while retaining most original varnish. A visible “Henry Bump”. Excellent mechanics. Made in 1866. Just a fantastic rifle. I would even say this could be in the top 10 of all existing Henry’s as far as condition goes. If you are looking for the best, this is it. All original and excellent condition.
ANTIQUE $ 110,000.
