W3602 SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 RIFLE IN 30 WCF; 26 inch full octagon barrel with a very good bore chambered in 30 WCF caliber. Marbles rear sight with an unmarked front. Half length magazine. Replaced newer “Model 94” barrel retains most all original blue and has sharp corners and good markings. “Model 1894” receiver is a brown/gray patina with traces of original blue showing and was made in the early 1900’s. Traces of case color on the hammer and lever. Shows evidence of having a tang sight at one time. Features a walnut checkered pistolgrip stock and rifle style buttplate. Checkering is worn. Forearm is not checkered. A piece of wood has been grafted in the stock at the toe. Crisp action. An interesting configuration.
