W1151 WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 DELUXE RIFLE; Very scarce 24 inch half octagon matted barrel chambered in 38 WF caliber. Fairly bright shiny bore with sharp rifling. Receiver is a silvery with traces of case color in protected areas. Barrel and mag tube are mostly a gray color.Factory Letter lists the pistol grip and checkered stock. No rear dovetail for sight. Has a folding tang sight. Nice functioning action. Correct dust cover. Wood is in good condition with just a few light handling mars. Rifle style buttplate. Comes with Factory Letter. I have only seen a few of these matted barrels on an 1873 rifle and even fewer that are half octagon!
