R2370 REMINGTON MODEL 95 DOUBLE DERRINGER IN .41 RF WITH ORIGINAL BOX; 3 inch barrels with bright excellent bores. The metal surfaces show about 95% original matte blue with some light flaking and a couple light handling marks. Sharp REMINGTON ARMS – U.M.C. CO. ILION, N.Y. barrel address and “L” prefix on the serial number indicate production 1911-1935. Black checkered hard rubber grips in near excellent condition with the left having a tiny chip along the back bottom edge. The hinge is strong and intact with good barrel lock up, and the action seems to function fine. Includes the original maroon paper-covered box and the original blued cleaning rod. The box remains in about good condition and is somewhat delicate. The endcap of the cover having the label has been separated but is included with the label remaining mostly intact and showing matching ink-penned number 92716. The bottom has some tears in some corners and along some of bottom edges. This is a very fine example of a late production derringer with rarely seen original box.
