27-5/8 inch fluted octagon barrel with matted rib grooved at the rear for mounting optional rear sights. Chambered for 8,15 X 46 Norm.. The action features double set triggers, self latching lever and an integral peep sight base on the upper tang. It has near full coverage engraving with foliate motifs having punch dot background and diamond crosshatch accents showing a buck with a doe game scene on the left side and two bull elk in battle game scene on the right. Engraving continues on to the lever. Smooth walnut forearm  with checkered pistol grip buttstock featuring a cheekrest, sling swivel and a flat steel buttplate. Fine condition overall with original finishes, crisp engraving and mild overall wear. The bore is near excellent, bright and fairly shiny with strong rifling. Wood is very good with chipping and a repair at the rear of the forearm showing otherwise normal handling marks. The action is mechanically fine. Comes with an aperture sight on a crudely fashioned post fit for the integral sight base on the upper tang.
