Description
MHG625 TIPPING & LAWDEN ENGRAVED PEPPERBOX; This a factory engraved model 1A. The 1A is a smaller framed gun in 22 caliber. It has the same 4-barrel cluster configuration as the larger ones. Nearly full coverage engraving on the brass frame with remnants of the silver plated finish. Most of that finish is worn to a pleasing brass color. All engraving is good. The barrel cluster is nickel and most nickel remains. Some light wear and a couple of flakes. Hammer spring is a bit weak but does work. The Gutta Percha grips are in VG+ condition. These are very scarce early pistols.
ANTIQUE $3,975
