C405 ENGRAVED COLT CLOVERLEAF SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER IN CALIBER 41 RF; 4 shot cylinder with spur trigger revolver features a 2-7/8 inch round nickel barrel with good bore. Top of the barrel has the Colt House Hartford Ct address. Nickel finish and engraved frame with most nickel remaining. Some flaking ahead of the cylinder and some edge wear on the cylinder itself. Rear of the frame has some scroll engraving that is likely retailer applied. Action is fine. Rosewood grips are in good condition with just some handling mars and wear. About 7,500 of these were made between 1871-1876. This Cloverleaf was manufactured in 1871.
