W3258 SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 RIFLE IN 30 WCF; 26 inch rapid tapper full round barrel chambered in 30 WCF caliber with a very good bore and strong rifling. Sights include a ramped German silver blade front with a 3 leaf platinum express rear. Barrel retains most thinning blue. Half magazine tube with a take down frame. Receiver has about 25-30% original blue turning a plum brown with wear at the carry point. Hammer and lever have good traces of case colors. Crisp functioning action. Walnut stocks retains a considerable amount of original varnish with the usual dings and mars. Special order shotgun style butt with hard rubber butt plate. A special order Winchester with some honest wear and character that was made in 1904.
