W142A WINCHESTER MODEL 1885 MUSKET IN 40-60 WCF; Early Thickside High Wall Musket with most thinning original blue turning plum/brown remaining on the 32 inch round barrel. Chambered in in 40-60 WCF caliber with a bright shiny bore. Original musket sights include a pinned blade front and folding ladder rear. Nice clear markings on the barrel and frame. Receiver is case colored and has aged to a medium brown/gray color. Smooth action. Walnut stocks are also very nice with only one small chip missing on the left side by the upper tang. Complete with sling rings and cleaning rod. A hard to find Winchester Musket in this caliber. Made in 1887.
