W081 WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 RIFLE IN 45-60 WCF; Standard length 28 inch octagon barrel chambered in 45-60 WCF caliber with an interesting bore appears to have been reamed or honed. Barrel is a plum/brown color with wear to the high points on the corners. Some vise marks are present too. Sights include a blade front and sporting rear. Receiver is mostly a plum/blue patina as well. Hammer and lever are a silver/gray color. Forearm wood has been lightly sanded and stained. Walnut stock has usual wear for a gun made in 1882 with a rifle style butt plate. Action is good. Complete with a copy of the Cody letter verifying features.
