W4737 WINCHESTER MODEL 06 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE IN 22 CALIBER; 20 inch round barrel chambered in 22 S, L or LR calibers with a partially bright bore with defined rifling. Original sights include a blade front and notch rear missing the adjusting screw. Barrel and magazine tube are a mottled brown/grey patina. The receiver shows moderate wear and a brown/grey patina. Refinished gumwood buttstock has repairs to the wrist and handling marks. Worn Winchester marked hard rubber buttplate. Mechanically functions. Made in 1927. It’s not too pretty but it still has some life left in it for being just about 100 years old!
