24 inch octagon barrel. Full length tube magazine. Original sporting front sight with nickel silver blade and a flat top sporting rear. Plain walnut  forearm with matching straight grip buttstock fit with a crescent rifle buttplate. Barrel shows about 60% finish turning brown. The magazine tube show out 40% finish turning brown. Very good bore is fairly bright and shiny with limited scattered light pitting with otherwise decent rifling. Receiver shows scant remains of thinning finish appearing brown with gray undertones. Forearm is full fitting with a crack at the front top left, is otherwise solid with light wear and handling marks. Buttstock is solid and full fitting with light wear and handling marks. Manufactured in 1889.
