24 inch octagon barrel. Full length tube magazine. Original sights include a sporting front with nickel silver blade and semi-buckhorn sporting rear. Plain walnut forearm with matching straight  grip buttstock fit with a crescent rifle buttplate. Near good condition overall with metal surfaces showing thinning remains of original finish now appearing mostly brown with areas of light pitting and  rough handling marks scattered here and there. Outer magazine tube has dents just ahead of the forearm. Bore is dark with rough surfaces, scattered areas of light pitting and only faint traces of rifling. The action is sound and functions as it should. The stocks fit fairly well showing wear and handling marks with the forearm having a splinter missing at the top right front edge and are otherwise solid. Manufactured in 1890.
