W4564 WINCHESTER MODEL 65 RIFLE IN CALIBER 218 BEE; 24 inch barrel and half length magazine. Bright excellent bore and sighted with a hooded ramped front sight. The rear sight dovetail is neatly blanked, and the desirable Lyman bolt mounted aperture sight is in place. Metal retains a good amount of original thinning blue with wear to the edges and carry points. The pistolgrip walnut stock is in very good condition. Left side has a very short crack, about ¼ inch, at the frame and a few scattered light dings. Forend is also in very nice condition. Checkered steel buttplate. This rifle is a solid Model 65 with desirable caliber and sights. Manufactured in 1941.
