W4393 SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 RIFLE IN 32 WS; 26 inch half round half octagon barrel chambered in 32 WS caliber with a good bore. Sights include a Lyman beaded blade front with a Smokeless 32 WS-M’94 rear. Barrel retains most thinning blue with some light scratches and edge wear. Receiver is mostly a gray patina. Hammer and lever are also a gray color with traces of case colors remaining. Walnut forearm looks good with a hairline crack on the left side coming off the forend cap. Buttstock has been lightly sanded and is a little shy at the wrist with a rifle style buttplate. Crisp functioning action. This special order example was manufactured in 1910.
