W4152 WINCHESTER MODEL 1866 SADDLE RING CARBINE; Standard 20 inch carbine configuration in 44 RF caliber. Good bore with visible rifling that has shine and light scattered roughness throughout. Original sights include a blade front that is integral to the barrel band front and a folding two-leaf rear. Barrel and magazine tube are a darker brown color with traces of blue. Nice looking brass receiver with original saddle ring. Walnut stocks are in good condition with some light handling mars. Brass carbine buttplate. Nice functioning action. Winchester factory letter states made in 1876. Not a bad looking example of an 1866 SRC.
