W4038 WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 RIFLE IN CALIBER 405; 24 inch tapered round barrel chambered in the desirable 405 WCF caliber with a bright shiny near excellent bore. Sights include a brass beaded blade front and a flattop sporting rear. Metal has turned a plum/brown with traces of blue in protected areas. Walnut stocks show some wear and handling mars with a repaired crack on the right side of the forearm. Rifle style buttplate. 5 round box magazine. Crisp action. Should make a good shooter. Made in 1908.
