W3778 WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE IN CALIBER 38-55; 20 inch carbine configuration chambered in 38-55 caliber with a good bore that needs a thorough cleaning. Sights include a pinned blade front and folding ladder carbine rear. Barrel and mag have about 70% original thinning blue. Receiver has turned a gray/brown patina. Marked on top of the frame and the bolt as well as the hammer, buttplate and barrel band is “CPR” which could be some sort of agency or company marking. Gumwood stocks are better than average and complete with eyes for a Winchester sling. Original saddle ring. Nice little Winchester made in 1913.
