W3629 WINCHESTER MODEL 61 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE IN 22 S. L. OR L.R.; 24 inch round barrel chambered in 22 S. L. or L.R. caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Barrel is a dull blue/brown color with crisp markings. Original open sights and a Weaver B4 scope. Mag tube has good blue. Receiver retains most bright blue. Walnut plain grip stock is in good condition with a repaired chip by the upper tang and some light wear and usage mars. Checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Nice crisp action that should make for a fun shooter. About 350,000 of these were made between 1932 through 1963 and this one was made in 1940.
