W3628 WINCHESTER MODEL 62A SLIDE ACTION RIFLE IN 22 CALIBER; The Model 62 is a modern version of the Model 1890. 23 inch round tapered barrel chambered in 22 S. L. or L.R. caliber. A bright shiny excellent bore. Barrel has most blue with a few scattered spots of light corrosion. Original sights. Mag tube has most blue as well. Receiver has most blue remaining with some scattered light spots of corrosion mostly on the left side that looks like the result of poor storage. Walnut stock is in very good condition. Hard rubber shotgun buttplate. Nice crisp action that should make for a fun shooter. Over 409,000 of these were made between 1932 through 1959 and this one was made in 1948.
