W3415 WINCHESTER 1885 HI-WALL RIFLE IN CALIBER 32-40; Gun appears to have originally been a 30 inch barrel that is shortened 1/2 inch at the muzzle. 29-1/2 inch octagon Number 3 weight barrel chambered in 32-40 caliber with a bright shiny bore. About 90% barrel blue remains. Sights include a globe front with spirit level windage adjustable and Lyman tang sight. Gun was fitted for scope blocks at one time and now the holes have been neatly plugged. Considerable amount of receiver blue that has been touched up. Stock shows some wear with most original varnish on the forearm. Buttstock is pretty good with a rifle style buttplate. Should be a great shooter.
