W3313 FACTORY ENGRAVED WINCHESTER MODEL 1866 DLX RIFLE; SN is in the 38,000 range. 24 inch full octagon barrel as well a full magazine tube. Features a fairly good bore with sharp rifling and would benefit from a good cleaning. The barrel has turned a plum/brown patina color. Has sharp corners and good markings complete with original sights. Marked on the front part of the lower tang on the inside is the initials U & F which stands for Conrad F. Ulrich which there were only a handful of these. Wood is in very good shape with numerous small mars and dings but no splits of cracks and retains most of the original varnish. The receiver is engraved quite elaborately with initials and a panel scene on the left hand side of the receiver. The silver has turned a very nice deep patina color. Has about 5 or 10% of the original silver showing in the protected area. Overall this is a good clean little gun. Complete with the correct swing swivels.
