W264 WINCHESTER 1873 RIFLE; Special order features include an octagon barrel and button mag. There is quite a rare sight which I haven’t seen very often. It is a non-flipping brass globe front sight with post. Rear sight is standard and there is a Marble tang sight. Caliber 38 WCF. A somewhat early 73 in the 190k serial range. This is a good looking gun that shows it’s age but was well cared for. There is a blue/brown color on the barrel. The receiver is mostly a pleasing brown with blue peeking out in protected areas. Wood is nice fitting but has a large gouge on the right side in the comb area. A coat of some sort of old style shellac was added years ago. Forearm is nice with no cracks or losses. Good to VG bore with strong rifling and light roughness. Nice action. Original dust cover.
ANTIQUE $ 3,975.
