W2449 WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 SPECIAL ORDER SHORT RIFLE IN 50 CALIBER ; 22 inch full round barrel with a button magazine. Lyman front sight and 1876 marked flip up ladder rear sight. Mint bore. Wood is in very good condition with a light coat of lacquer added at one time and a repair where the frame and stock meet. Overall gun is in nice condition with 30-40% thinning barrel blue turning a plum color. Receiver has 50-60% blue starting to turn plum as well. Nice crisp action. Comes complete with correct Express marked dust cover and Factory Letter of Authenticity.
