MR731 INTERESTING CASED STEVENS IDEAL NUMBER 44 TWO BARREL SINGLE SHOT RIFLE; Half octagon barrels measure 24 inches . One is 25 RF and the other is 22 LR. Both have very fine bores. Correct Stevens buckhorn rear sight. One has globe front sight and the other has a Lyman blade front sight. Frame features typical Stevens flip up tang sight. Overall gun is excellent+. Barrels retain 98% bright lustrous blue. Receiver retains most all case colors with only slight fading. Crisp action. Wood retains most varnish with a few light handling mars.
