MR591 MODEL 1819 HARPERS FERRY HALL RIFLE DATED 1831; Converted to percussion in caliber 52. It has a normal 32-1/2 inch barrel with 16 groove rifling. Receiver carries the normal “Hall” markings. This gun is altered to percussion in the Federal style. Metal showing some scattered light pitting in breech area and buttplate. Minor pitting on the balance of the metal. Wood is in overall good condition with no major cracks or nicks beyond normal handling. Original sling swivels and correct ram-rod.
