Fair dark bore that needs a good cleaning but does show a ring in the bore. The top of the barrel is marked J.STEVENS ARMS COMPANY.CHICOPEE FALLS. MASS. U.S.A / * VISIBLE LOADING REPEATER. PAT. APR. 30-07 *. Blade front and sporting rear sight that is missing the elevator. Metal surfaces are a brown color with very fine oxidation. Forearm has a chip out of the left side. Stock has been repaired and has a couple of cracks in it. Hard rubber butt plate is worn. These were made from 1907-1932. This is an example piece that could be used for parts or a project.
