MR1584 U.S. SPRINGFIELD ARMORY MODEL 1898 RIFLE IN CALIBER 30-40 KRAG; Bolt action Model 1898 Rifle with 30 inch round barrel chambered in 30-40 Krag caliber that has a very good bore. Original sights. Barrel has about 30% thinning blue remaining while the receiver is mostly an aged grey color. Wood has several handling mars and has been shortened at the forearm. There is a visible cartouche on the left side. Comes with a very good Springfield Armory Sling. Nice smooth action. This one was made in 1899.
