MR1227 DEUTSCHE WERKE MODEL 1 YOUTH RIFLE IN 22 LONG RIFLE; 23 inch barrel. Metal surfaces show a fair amount of finish starting to turn brown with scattered freckling. Bore is a bit dark with substantial rifling. Original sights. Walnut stock has been lightly sanded leaving some handling marks and the left side shows 6 nail heads and a round pocket where the Deutsche Werke escutcheon is missing. Front sling ring is missing leaving a hole through the bottom edge of the barrel and the rear sling ring is slightly bent.
