MHG1062 & 1063 PAIR OF MAUBEUGE AN IX PISTOLS; An IX was a flintlock cavalry pistol in service in French units. They have 5-1/8 inch round barrels of 60 gauge. Both are in good condition with all metal having aged to a dull grey. Both dated 1817 on the left side of the barrel. One has some sort of lettering or cartouche on the left side of the stock that is more than likely in French. Wood is in good shape with just the typical handling mars. All springs seem to be tight. These would be great displayed.
ANTIQUE $ 2,500.
