JM1531 MARLIN MODEL 336 CARBINE IN 30-30 CALIBER; 20 inch carbine configuration chambered in 30-30 caliber. Bore has visible rifling but scattered roughness throughout. Sights include a hooded ramped bead front and sporting rear sight that needs an elevator. Thinning barrel blue is turning a plum/brown patina. Frame shows 70% dark blue that is thinning at the carry point. 4 holes on the top of frame tapped for a scope. Hole in belly of the buttstock. Original Marlin hard rubber buttplate. Made in 1964.
