JM1516 MARLIN MODEL 39 LEVER ACTION RIFLE; 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 22 S,L&LR calibers with a bright shiny near excellent bore. Barrel is mostly a gray/brown with traces of blue in protected areas. Original open sights. Tube magazine. Receiver has traces of case color on the frame and hammer. Crisp tight action. Smooth Walnut stocks have been lightly cleaned and some light finish added. A chip out of the toe that extends into the hard rubber buttplate. Should make a great little shooter. These were made from 1922-1938.
