C347 1ST GENERATION COLT SAA IN CALIBER 41 COLT; 4-3/4 inch barrel with the correct 2 line barrel address has traces of blue remaining in the protected areas. Faint barrel address on top of the barrel with a good “41 Colt” marking on the left side. Case hardened frame is mostly turned a grey/brown with just slight traces of case color in the protected areas. Patent dates and the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. Hard rubber checkered grips with the Colt insignia on each side. All matching numbers on the frame, trigger guard and butt. Nice action and good very shiny bore with some light scattered roughness.. Manufactured in 1902. The 41 Colt is the 5th most popular caliber in the lineup. The .41s were favorites in the West for the men who wanted something less husky than the .45 yet still had man-stopping power at short ranges.
