Leroy Merz Antique Firearms stocks more old Winchester Rifles than anyone else.We always have hundreds of antique Winchester rifles as well as collectable modern Winchesters in stock, including rifles, carbines (saddlering and eastern carbines), muskets, hi-walls, low-walls, shotguns and all other types of Winchester and Henry Rifles. Many of our fine antique guns have case colors, octagon barrels, engraving, nickel or silver finish, gold or platinum inlays, scarce calibers, custom wood and other special-order features. We often showcase one-of-a-kind investment-grade pieces, including some engraved by the masters of firearms engraving or historic guns once owned by presidents, kings and outlaws. VIEW PHOTO(6922-16-560) FACTORY ENGRAVED SCHUETZEN TAKE DOWN HIGH WALL RIFLE IN CALIBER 22 SHORT

2-barrel set. Fitted in it's original leg of mutton case. Engraved with a bear on one side and a big horn sheep on the other. Features gold lines on the buttplate, back of the receiver, bottom of receiver, lever, take down extension on both bbls as well as on the bbls themselves. Fitted with an A-5 scope and a palm rest made for a left hand shooter. Overall condition is spectacular with 98%+ vivid bright blue, case hardened parts retain vivid case colors. Absolutely unbelievable set. This set is referred to numerous times in Campbell's Winchester Single Shot book. One of a kind.

VIEW PHOTO(6608-17-169-CONS) WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 DELUXE RIFLE IN .45-60

One of the finest ‘76 case hardened deluxes’ that I’ve ever seen retaining 98-99% bright vivid case colors. Overall on both sides of the receiver, the wood has just very minor handling mars, virtually all of the original varnish remaining, pistol grip checkered; shotgun butt. Original 26” full round barrel, button magazine, original sights include a Beaches combination front, a folding ladder ’76 marked rear and a Lyman vernier tang. Overall gun is excellent+ inside and out; guaranteed 100% all original and complete with Factory Letter of Authenticity. Rarely encountered in this condition-the best I’ve ever had.

VIEW PHOTO(W1000-17-319) SPECTACULAR NIMSCHKE ENGRAVED 1866 RIFLE

Nimschke Engraved WinchesterThis gun is fully and finely 'bank note scroll' engraved by the master: L.D. Nimschke. 28,XXX serial number range. This rifle is considered by many to be the finest work that Nimschke had ever done on a Winchester. The motif on the side and the scroll work is unlike anything he's done on any other known gun but it is undoubtedly his work. Overall gun is in superb cond with approx 85-90% orig blue on bbl and mag tube, fine bore. Orig walnut stocks are in exc+ cond with most orig varnish and just a very few light handling mars; complete with orig sling swivels. Receiver was originally gold gilted and still retains a considerable amount of the orig gold gilt in the engraving; the balance of the receiver has turned a beautiful deep butterscotchy brass patina coloration. VIEW PHOTO(W7777-17-241) ONE-OF-A-KIND WINCHESTER MATCH GRADE DOUBLE BARREL HAMMER SHOTGUN CHAMBERED IN THE RAREST BORE 16 GAUGE

This is the only 16 ga Match Gun that has ever been documented. It comes with a long list of letters & provenance and is also pictured extensively in Ron Stadt's "Winchester Shotguns and Shotshells" book as well as Dennis Adler's "Winchester Shotgun" book. The gun is beautiful with nicely figured deluxe grade wood; in exc cond with sharp checkering and orig hardrubber buttplate. The excellent original 30" bbls are choked improved cylinder & improved cylinder with dbl locking lugs and doll's head rib extension. Overall exc with 75% toning finish on the bbls; 40-50% case colors on the rec. Rec's are very nicely engraved, marked "Winchester Repeating Arms Co. Match Gun." Very fine mechanical condition, all orig, one of a kind little gun. The consigner of this item has asked us to lower the price to....

VIEW PHOTO(8772-17-1) SPECTACULAR DELUXE WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 RIFLE

We discovered this outstanding rifle right here in Minnesota last year. Now one of our good customers has decided to consign it back to us. Caliber 40-65. Orig 26" full oct bbl, full length mag, very good bore, orig sights include correct buckhorn rear and folding Lyman tang. Orig pistol grip checkered deluxe wood is in exc cond with nearly all the orig high gloss lacquer finish and a rifle style buttplate. Overall gun is in absolutely fantastic cond retaining 98-99% bright heavy orig bbl and mag blue, receiver retains virtually all of the case colors on both sides with just a very slight fading on the bottom. Hammer and lever retain nearly all of the orig bright case colors, buttplate retains possibly 75% lightly thinning case colors. Fantastic inside and out-truly an investment grade Winchester; complete with single set trigger and Letter of Authenticity from the Buffalo Bill Historical Society. Very hard to improve upon.

SERIAL NUMBER 13, THE EARLIEST KNOWN WINCHESTER 1873 RIFLE

The earliest known Model 1873 Winchester rifle, SERIAL #13 recently discovered in a European collection. This rifle is in extrordinary condition with most of the original bright vivid blue and case hardening. Excellent throughout with all correct early model 1873 features. An extrordinary find, offered by Leroy Merz Antique Firearms for the first time ever on the collectors firearms market.
