Original 26" full oct bbl and full length mag tube. Excellent bore. Original sights include a the flat top sporting rear sight and Marbles # 2 front sight. Original wood has had some non-original checkering applied to it a long time ago and worn down. Looks pretty good with traces of original varnish remaining complete with rifle style buttplate. Overall metal retains 75% bbl and mag blue toning slightly and turning brown. Receiver has good traces of case colors turning a silvery color. No pitting on metal. Nice clean little gun. e

These 71's made by Browning were a limited edition made only in 1986 and 1987. The high grade had Dlx checkered walnut with a beautiful finish that Browning is noted for. Receiver is heavily scroll engraved with gold inlays. On the right hand side is a running buck and on the left hand side are two beautiful elk. The animals are in gold as is the trigger. Hard to find cal 45-70. Original sights include a folding ladder rear sight and correct Winchester front sight. Excellent+ bright shiny bore. Should make a good shooter. Original wood has a light coat of varnish added at one time. Has not been sanded and is not undersized. Wood to metal fit is perfect. Looks fine with a rifle style BP Overall metal is in excellent condition with about 90% original bbl and mag blue. Receiver has 50% case colors that is starting to turn a nickel color. Protected areas still have quite vivid case colors. Nice, clean, sharp little gun. e

This is a late manufactured US Repeating Arms rifle. The serial number is 106. Take down, full oct bbl, full mag, crescent BP. Cal 45-90 with a 24" rapid taper full round bbl and button mag. In the 110,000 serial number range Winchester was making some light weights that weren't true light weights as we know them like the 33's, but they were tapered full round bbls with a slight sight slot in the front in place of a raised sight slot like the later light weights. Tapered forearm wood is quite thin and elegant in design. Overall gun is in beautiful condition with virtually all bbl blue. A mint bore. Receiver retains over 90% bright case colors. Original wood retains most original varnish with only a few light handling mars. Hard rubber shotgun style buttplate and original sling swivels. Original sights include correct Winchester blade front sight and the typical Buckhorn rear sight. Gun is Excellent inside and out and would be hard to improve upon.
